The Community Ascertainment Study indicated there is high agreement that a mobility problem on the Interstate 5 Freeway exists but the severity of the problem varied based on personal travel patterns\,\n\nuse\, and location. In addition\, the study recommended that elected leaders should\n\nlead a collaborative process involving community and stakeholder input that develops alternatives to addressing the problem defined. Based upon these recommendations\, this past June\, TCA hosted its first public forum\, where members of the community\n\nhad the opportunity to suggest transportation ideas to address mobility concerns in South Orange County. These concepts were then modeled by transportation planners and will be on display for additional public input at the next public forum\, being held October 5th\, 5:30p-8:00p\, at St. Andrews by the Sea in San Clemente. During the upcoming public forum\, the public will have the opportunity to review the benefits and potential impacts from the initial analysis of the public's proposed transportation solutions.
