We are located W of I-5 on the corner of Victoria and Ola Vista. We are close to old down town a block S of Del Mar. We are a few blocks from the beach on your way to T street or the pier.
About Us
Fred's Market Liquor is located on the corner of Victoria and S Ola Vista near old downtown.
Fred's has been a part of the San Clemente community since 1959. From 1959 to 2008, Fred could be seen walking to work or sitting in his chair, at the store, holding ''court''. He and his wife, Edith, claimed ''San Clemente was the best place in the world''.
Fred and Edith are now gone but the traditions at Fred's are still evident. No long lines and friendly employees who know their regular customers on a first name basis.
The store is now run by his two daughters and 2 granddaughters. Some updates have been made to the beer and wine section of the store, a large craft beer section has been added and the original wine barrel has been brought back to life.
