About Us

At Smile San Clemente we understand the importance of having a dental practice that provides you with exceptional care. Dr. Mahallati and his staff are committed to serving each and every patient with attentive care and impeccable dental work. Our practice provides general dentistry services but our main focus is prevention. We are committed to ensuring your oral health is in excellent condition by attending to all dental issues, existing and potential.


Dr. Mahallati started his educational journey at UCLA studying engineering, however, he soon realized that he enjoyed working with people more. He followed his father and brother's footsteps and transferred to USC where he graduated from in 1995. With over 25 years of experience and extensive additional training in Implant dentistry and Orthodontics, Dr. Mahallati believes that by being educated in all aspects of his field he can provide better care and more comprehensive treatment for his patients.

Dr. Mahallati also believes in giving back to the less fortunate. He has been volunteering at the WSWA and been helping the “Low Income Workers of Orange County”. Since 2016, Dr. Mahallati has gone to three missions to Guatemala. While in Guatemala, he works with the charity Helps International which provides medical services to people who do not have access to care or who do not have the means to do it. After a long day of work (14 hours), he says that he is rewarded by the smile on people’s face.
