Endorsement Process

The candidate endorsement process was established to provide a service to the community through the Business for a Better San Clemente Political Action Committee (BBSC-PAC) evaluation of each candidate’s qualifications as they align with the community’s current needs, with a focus on local business.

In the case of city council elections, all candidates are eligible and invited to participate in the endorsement process, which includes the completion of a thoughtfully prepared questionnaire and interview with the BBSC-PAC Committee. During interviews, candidates are asked about issues that affect both businesses and residents.

 At times, the BBSC-PAC will support candidates, issues and/or propositions and legislative matters that may affect the San Clemente business community.
