Friday, June 08 - Marine BBQ - Welcome Back Celebration
In an effort to Welcome Home and support the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines and their families, the Chamber, City & Left Coast Brewing Co. will host a BBQ in their honor. The event will be held on Friday, June 8th at San Onofre Beach, Camp Pendleton. The Chamber is accepting gifts for the Marines and their children. If you would like to donate a gift(s) please contact the Chamber office. Either you may deliver the gift to the Chamber office or we will be happy to collect the gift at your establishment. All donors will be included in the Chamber Business Newsletter. Dance with the stars – of our community, that is! The San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club is presenting the second annual “Dancing For a Cause” event on Friday May 18 at 6:00 pm. The evening will include a delicious dinner, no-host bar, music by “Black Tie Events” for dancing, and plenty of delightful Silent and Live Auction packages that include trips, dinners, hotel stays and more, as well as the dance competition. Monday, May 28 - City of San Clemente - Memorial Day Observance
The City of San Clemente is hosting the annual MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE to commemorate our fallen soldiers of war on Monday, May 28st from 11:00 am–12pm The program is hosted on the grounds of the San Clemente Community Center, located at 100 N. Calle Seville, on the corner of Del Mar. Please plan on coming early to allow for time to be seated. We promptly begin our presentations at 11am. This year key note speaker is Lt. Col. Carlton Hasle, US Marine Corp, Camp Pendleton.
